Actress Anne Heche is not expected to survive the recent accident, unfortunately; according to family spokesperson. Anne suffered brain damage which doctors fear will severely impact her chances of survival.
She has been living through the aid of the life support machines. The whole ordeal happened after she crashed her car into a residential area last Friday. Heche , 53 , was immediately admitted in a hospital.
As per eye witness, the actress was seen speeding in her blue Mini Cooper. Soon after she crashed into one house , minutes later , she crashed into another. The second crash however, caused the car and parts of the house to go in a blaze. Firefighters that rushed to the scene were unable to properly identify the passenger of the vehicle due the char and surface trauma suffered through the multiple impacts.
Anne Heche suffers from anoxic brain injury. This is the type of injury that happens when all oxygen is not provided to the central nervous system, the brain. When this happens, roughly 4 minutes after, brain cells begin to die. Like most brain injuries, these do not have to originate in the brain, they can be caused due to physical trauma as well. Common causes include strokes or lung trauma.
